KIDS HOPE USA builds caring relationships...

...one child, one hour, one church, one school.

We are always looking for ways that we can connect people of our faith community to a need in the area.  Kids Hope is one of those simple opportunities to make a difference even with a busy lifestyle and schedule.  The commitment is one hour a week just spending time with a student that needs a friend.

I know finding an hour each week is not always easy, doing anything worth while is never easy, however the rewards are great.  Here are just a few of the benefits that involvement in Kids Hope USA provides this community. Image

  • Frost Research Center (2007): “According to their teachers, 98% of the KIDS HOPE USA children benefited from their relationship with a mentor.”

  • Mentor Satisfaction: 78% of volunteers mentor for 2 years or more; 50% for 3 years or more.

  • Search Institute: According to Zeeland (MI) Public Schools, KIDS HOPE USA mentors from neighborhood churches helped elementary school children acquire 20 of the 40 developmental assets identified by the institute.
